Andrew visited the site to check on the status of the wall repairs. He also removed the Icom IC718 for safekeeping (no longer usable via Ham Radio Deluxe) and the VHF 145.700 repeater for repairs. Damien
ZS2DLF had a quick look at the repeater and confirmed the TX is noisy.
Also found a blown 15A AC fuse - to be investigated |

UHF Link appears to still only have 2ch EPROM - change this to 4ch version next time. Backup batteries looking in good nick. All green. |

Replaced the ventilation fan louvre and controller, due to burnt fan power connector |

One 12V 100Ah battery has a red indicator - low electrolyte level. Bring water next time...

Also checked the wifi link to Mount Rd - the POE power supply/injector seems faulty. LED Comes up but no power injected. Fitted the repaired Ethernet POE modified switch, and the port comes alive. Still no link to Mount Rd, but will check from the other end, from home. |
